Ashleigh Flynn and the Riveters Tour Poster

I made a poster for the 2022 Ashleigh Flynn and the Riveters Tour. I also manage and update their website from time to time, so I was excited to work on this project! The theme for this poster was to highlight the beauty of the Willamette Valley, and to use bold colors. Below are some of the mockups, along with the final poster we went with! There were some challenges with fitting all of the text for the tour dates in the poster, but it all came together in the end! I was inspired by the cover art for one of my favorite novels, Joan Didion’s Play it as it Lays.

We liked the rainbow element from above, since the band has many LGBTQ+ members, but needed a larger area for the text as well as wanting to make the whole poster more colorful. This first next poster was my favorite of the mockups. We also decided on a font at this point.
